Job Overview

The ideal candidate will bring 3-6 years of relevant experience, including clerkship or work in a prosecutor's or public defender's office, and possess strong writing skills and courtroom experience.

Duties

• Represent clients in criminal defense cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations.
• Prepare and present cases in court.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in a prosecutor's or public defender's office preferred.
• Strong writing and courtroom skills.
• Bar membership in New Jersey required.
• Bar membership in New York is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
