The attorney will provide legal advice to clients and prepare for and represent clients at disability hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges. Legal writing at the ALJ and Appeals Council levels is required. The role involves communicating with clients via telephone, mail, and email at all levels of the disability process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both oral and written.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice to clients on disability matters.
  • Prepare for and represent clients at disability hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.
  • Perform legal writing at the ALJ and Appeals Council levels.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via telephone, mail, and email at all stages of the disability process.

 

Requirements:

  • Attorney License.
  • 1-3 years of experience practicing Social Security Disability law.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Attorney License.

 

Skills:

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
