Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm located in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a litigation associate to support a robust docket of complex civil defense matters. This role involves representing public entities in high-impact disputes, including those related to public safety operations, infrastructure design, correctional oversight, and workplace issues. Duties:

  • Handle diverse aspects of litigation from intake through trial

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence

  • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategy

  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and legal teams

Requirements:

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association
