This role involves representing public entities in high-impact disputes, including those related to public safety operations, infrastructure design, correctional oversight, and workplace issues. Duties:

• Handle diverse aspects of litigation from intake through trial

• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence

• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses

• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategy

• Maintain proactive communication with clients and legal teams

• Research legal issues and prepare memoranda

• Participate in firm-sponsored continuing education initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience handling civil litigation or insurance defense matters

• Demonstrated ability to manage a busy case load with minimal oversight

• Strong organizational habits and time management abilities

• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Proficiency in handling depositions, disclosures, and motion practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
