Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing.

Duties

  • Represent clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, disclosure agreements, development agreements, and commercial leases.
  • Manage transactions from inception to closing with extensive client contact and minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing in North Carolina.
  • South Carolina bar is preferred but not required.
  • 10+ years of commercial real estate experience, with a strong background in complex transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
