Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Leasing Associate in Wilmington, DE. This role offers the chance to engage with sophisticated clients in the evolving data center and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements.
  • Handle transfer consents, lender subordination agreements, work letters, and SNDAs.
  • Address development issues related to power, water, and fiber-optic infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on zoning, entitlements, and permit processes.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of commercial leasing experience.
  • Experience with service level agreements and data center construction preferred.
  • Am Law 100 firm experience required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission in the jurisdiction of the resident office location.

Skills

  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
