Duties

• Provide legal defense in single-plaintiff, class, and representative actions.
• Counsel employers on compliance with federal, state, and international laws.
• Advise on traditional labor issues and internal investigations.
• Assist with executive compensation matters.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in labor and employment or commercial litigation at an Am Law 100 firm.
• Interest in noncompetes, trade secrets, and employment mobility issues preferred.
• Completion of a federal clerkship is strongly considered.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Excellent academic record with strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Virginia Bar membership required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Virginia Bar.
