Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney in Austin, TX, to join their team dedicated to personal injury law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trial advocacy and settlements, with a passion for serving clients with empathy and dedication.

Duties

  • Advocate for injury victims in various legal proceedings.
  • Assess injury cases and participate in the intake process.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in court for all legal proceedings.
  • Provide excellent client service and communication.
  • Lead counsel in strategizing for the best outcomes.
  • Participate in trial preparation and strategy.
  • Counsel clients throughout their case.
  • Engage in in-house training and networking.
  • Meet individual and firm deliverables and financial goals.
  • Settle and disburse cases with firm support.

Requirements

  • JD and Texas Bar Admission.
  • At least 5 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Minimum one year of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • Federal court admissions a plus.
  • Two professional references required.
  • Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasive writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently while handling multiple files.
  • Experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration representation.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Texas Bar Admission.
