Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Case Development Intake Attorney in Austin, TX. The role involves managing a docket of approximately 50 cases, investigating and preserving evidence, and developing medical and triage cases. The attorney will handle property damage claims, communicate with clients and adjusters, and prepare status reports.

Duties

• Investigate and develop commercial cases.
• Accept and evaluate incoming calls from potential new clients.
• Secure authorization for case sign-ups and explain attorney-client contracts.
• Prepare and submit monthly status reports for clients.
• Manage clients during the case development intake process.
• Prepare and document demands to settle certain cases.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in Texas in good standing.
• 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
• Strong commitment to client service.
• Valid TX driver license and good driving record.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong initiative and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with effective communication abilities.
• Customer service and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual (Spanish a plus).
