Product Liability and Class Action Litigation Associate

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a talented and motivated associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Product Liability and Class Action Litigation practice group in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Candidates with defense experience in catastrophic injury cases are highly preferred, and experience within the automotive industry and e-discovery is a plus.

Duties

• Engage in motion practice and discovery.
• Draft briefs and prepare company witnesses for depositions.
• Take and defend depositions and attend court appearances.
• Interact with clients and participate in trial preparation and trials.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant legal experience.
• Significant experience in case management, including fact investigation and discovery.
• Strong written communication and oral advocacy skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Admission to practice law in Michigan.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
