Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified midlevel associate with 3-5 years of law firm experience to join their Employee Benefits practice in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and a strong background in advising on employee benefits and executive compensation issues in M&A transactions.

Duties

  • Advise on employee benefits and executive compensation issues in M&A transactions.
  • Design, draft, and operate executive employment agreements.
  • Develop nonqualified deferred compensation and equity compensation plans.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of law firm experience in employee benefits.
  • Strong skills in advising on M&A transactions.
  • Bar membership is required.

The New York-based attorneys spend substantially all of their time working on behalf of clients of the New York office.
