A respected personal injury law firm based in Irvine, CA, is seeking a talented Personal Injury Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients facing personal injury cases. Under the guidance of senior partners, this role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and specialization in handling complex legal matters from inception to resolution.

Duties:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for personal injury litigation.
• Draft pleadings, responses to discovery, motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend and participate in depositions, court hearings, and trial preparations.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with team members, including paralegals and managing attorneys, to ensure case progression.
• Handle complex personal injury matters, such as motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and premises liability.
• Represent clients in settlement conferences, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to move cases forward.
• Transition into managing your caseload with senior attorney oversight.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar with a clear standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury cases.
• Proven track record in handling pleadings, discovery, depositions, and dispositive motions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong legal research and drafting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar License (Active)

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in litigation management, including discovery and motion practice.
• Effective negotiation and settlement skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• High-level proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal case management tools (e.g., Casepeer) is a plus.
