Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-stakes commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation strategy

  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements

  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court appearances

  • Participate in trial preparation and assist in first- or second-chair roles when possible

  • Engage in client communication and case updates

  • Manage multiple cases efficiently with a focus on quality client service

  • Support settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution efforts

Requirements:

  • 0–3 years of experience in commercial litigation

  • Familiarity with insurance coverage disputes preferred

  • Ability to handle litigation tasks independently and collaboratively

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical capabilities

  • Excellent drafting and written communication skills

  • Effective oral advocacy skills, including motion argument and deposition experience

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
