Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to work remotely in Wilmington, DE. Duties

  • Represent clients in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested foreclosures.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of conditions precedent to filing actions, including loan documents and financials.
  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence for foreclosure actions.
  • Perform legal research and analysis of statutes, case law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel.
  • Update internal client systems with findings, documentation, and recommendations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks.
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of work to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with electronic case management and client systems preferred.
  • Prior foreclosure and litigation experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor

Certifications

  • Bar membership in Delaware

Skills

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control principles preferred.
