Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced General Liability Partner to join their California team. Location:

  • San Diego, CA

Duties:

  • Lead and manage general liability cases from inception through resolution.
  • Build and maintain client and carrier relationships.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal representation.
  • Ensure the firm meets its billable hours target of 1800 hours per year.
  • Participate in firm leadership and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys.
  • Oversee client communications and ensure the highest standards of legal practice are upheld.

Requirements:

  • Partner-level experience in General Liability law.
  • Proven ability to manage files and client relationships.
  • Strong experience in litigation and legal strategy.
  • Excellent references and a solid track record of job stability.
  • Member of the California Bar in good standing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California (required).

Skills:

  • Extensive general liability litigation experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent client management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a legal team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
