A law firm seeks a Structured Finance Associate in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience, focusing on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and asset-based lending. This role requires a team player who excels in a fast-paced environment and is eager to manage multiple transactions while contributing to a collaborative team.

Duties

  • Advise on structuring, execution, and closing of CLO transactions, focusing on middle-market leveraged loans.
  • Collaborate with arrangers, managers, investors, and issuers on deal documentation and regulatory matters.
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a team-oriented environment.
  • Contribute to a supportive team culture.

Requirements

  • 2-8 years of experience in structured finance, with significant exposure to CLOs and/or middle-market leveraged loans.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines.
  • Four to seven years of relevant law firm experience.
  • Highly motivated with superior client service skills.
  • Must be a member of the Bar in a U.S. State.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar membership in a U.S. State.

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions.
