Duties

• Manage commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, written discovery, and conducting fact investigations.
• Litigate breach of contract, member/shareholder disputes, and employment issues.
• Research and brief legal issues; prepare and review client reports.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff, and attorneys.
• Ensure efficient case management while maintaining attention to detail.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements

• 4-9 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Substantive experience with breach of contract, member/shareholder disputes, and employment law.
• Experience in managing all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, research, and trial preparation.
• Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong drafting abilities.
• Self-motivated with an independent and efficient work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Missouri Bar (or eligible to practice in Missouri).
