Job Overview

A law firm seeks a real estate associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their real estate and land use law team in Wilmington, Delaware. The candidate will engage in various real estate transactions and legal proceedings.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, easements, and loan documents.
  • Assist with development projects by attending land use and administrative hearings.
  • Prepare applications to government agencies.
  • Conduct related legal research.
  • Support real estate-related litigation, including tax assessment and land use appeals.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in real estate law.
  • Experience in lending, financing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Proficiency in title and survey review and conducting real estate closings.
  • Admitted to practice in Delaware.

Education

  • Strong academic background.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the Delaware Bar.

Skills

  • Excellent research, writing, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Administrative law experience is a plus.
