Duties

• Draft and respond to discovery requests with a high level of accuracy

• Prepare and review motions, legal memoranda, and other filings

• Conduct background investigations in support of case preparation

• Coordinate meetings with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals

• Perform in-depth legal research to inform case strategies

• Analyze and review medical records relevant to defense matters

• Draft concise case analyses and client reports

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in civil litigation defense

• Admission to the Missouri Bar is required

• Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred but not mandatory

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Missouri Bar membership

• Illinois Bar membership (preferred)
