Duties

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Prepare and respond to motions, legal memoranda, and briefs

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Make court appearances for hearings and motions

• Engage with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses

• Perform legal research and analysis

• Review and interpret medical records and expert reports

• Prepare detailed case analyses and client communications

• Attend trials and serve as second-chair

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in civil litigation

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri

• Admission to the Illinois Bar preferred but not required

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Missouri Bar membership

• Illinois Bar membership (preferred)
