Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Litigation Attorney with 2-3 years of litigation experience to join their office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of employment law issues and civil litigation matters involving sophisticated clients.

Duties

  • Handle all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions.
  • Take and defend depositions and represent clients in mediation.
  • Draft and answer discovery requests, prepare for trial, and assist during trial.
  • Engage with both state and federal courts and administrative agencies.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
  • Experience in state and federal courts preferred.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on client service.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice in North Carolina; admission to South Carolina and/or Virginia is a plus.
