Duties

  • Assist clients with internal investigations of employment complaints and respond to EEOC charges.
  • Provide legal counsel on labor matters, including collective bargaining and arbitration proceedings.
  • Develop and implement employee handbooks, HR policies, and training materials.
  • Advise on termination processes and negotiate executive separation agreements.
  • Partner with clients on resolving employee relations issues and workplace investigations.
  • Provide guidance on leave and accommodation issues and monitor risk exposure.
  • Collaborate with litigation teams in employment-law disputes and mediations.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of employment-law experience, focusing on EEOC, ADA, and union matters.
  • Experience with labor-union or collective-bargaining issues preferred.
  • Litigation experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to draft and interpret employment policies and advise on employee-relations processes.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law.
