Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate for a full-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will engage in negotiating and representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, drafting and reviewing corporate documents, and providing legal advice on corporate and business matters.

Duties

  • Negotiate and represent clients in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft and review corporate documents.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate and business matters.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions, corporate, finance, and real estate law.
  • Analytical skills and tax knowledge.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to develop business.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar.

Skills

  • Previous experience in corporate law practice with at least 2 years of legal experience at a law firm.
