Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate to join their Green Bay, Wisconsin office. This role requires an attorney who is experienced in managing litigation matters from start to finish, including trials, arbitrations, and settlements. The ideal candidate will have exceptional advocacy skills and a keen understanding of litigation procedures, with the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of litigation cases, guiding them from inception to resolution.
  • Represent clients in court, at hearings, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize and execute case plans.
  • Manage time effectively to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in litigation is essential.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar and in good standing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a busy caseload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Wisconsin.
