Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Commercial Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their dynamic team in Reno, Nevada. The firm handles a wide range of complex commercial disputes and class action claims, including breach of contract, commercial torts, antitrust, and unfair competition.

Duties

  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, including appellate and Supreme Court levels.
  • Handle litigation surrounding commercial transactions and contract interpretation.
  • Engage in corporate, shareholder, and partnership disputes and dissolutions.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators on complex cases.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of general commercial litigation experience.
  • Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or willingness to sit for the next exam.
  • Excellent references and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada (or eligibility).
