Duties

  • Assist clients in navigating FMLA, ADA, and other leave laws.
  • Draft and review executive compensation agreements, including noncompete clauses.

  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and before government agencies.
  • Draft and update employment policies to ensure legal compliance.
  • Resolve labor disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  • Provide training to HR and management on employment issues.
  • Conduct internal investigations into workplace misconduct.
  • Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
  • Prepare and file legal documents such as lawsuits and contracts.
  • Maintain communication with clients, explaining legal strategies and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing with the State Bar Association.
  • Five to seven years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Collaborative approach with legal professionals and support staff.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
