Family Law Associate Attorney

A law firm based in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will support senior attorneys in all aspects of family law and must possess the ability to manage a large caseload. The Family Law Associate Attorney will play a vital role in the firm's family law practice, supporting senior attorneys and managing a diverse caseload of family law matters. They will be responsible for providing legal assistance and guidance to clients navigating various family law issues.

Duties:

• Support senior attorneys in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
• Manage a large caseload of family law matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on family law issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to strategize and execute case strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in family law statutes and case law.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.
• 4-6 years of experience practicing family law.
