Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal representation in all aspects of litigation.
• Prepare and file motions, responsive pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal arguments.
• Handle mediations and negotiate settlements.
• Work closely with adjusters to prepare litigation reports and assess risk exposure.
• Analyze written discovery, depositions, and medical records.
• Leverage all appropriate defenses to achieve favorable case outcomes.
• Assist in trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
• Federal court and trial experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Strong research and legal writing skills.
• Aderant Total Office (ATO) experience is preferred.
• Highly motivated with a commitment to excellent client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
