Trial Lawyer Partner

Job Overview: A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Trial Lawyer Partner with substantial experience in both jury and non-jury trials in State and Federal courts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate-related litigation, business torts, officer and director liability matters, complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and insurance litigation. Additionally, the candidate must possess a portable book of business demonstrating a proven skillset and potential for further business development.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee complex litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on litigation strategy and risk management.
• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar; additional admissions to other jurisdictions is a plus.
• Experience as a trial attorney in handling diverse litigation matters.
• Proven track record of successfully managing high-stakes litigation cases.

Certifications:

• Board Certification in Trial Law or related field preferred (if applicable).
