Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview:

A well-established personal injury law firm in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling a substantial caseload independently from inception through trial. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated litigator looking to grow professionally and gain trial exposure while working on complex and high-stakes personal injury matters.

Location:

• Morristown, NJ

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 75–100 personal injury cases

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Prepare for and attend arbitrations, motion hearings, and pre-trial conferences

• Draft arbitration statements and other litigation documents

• Represent clients in court when required

• Maintain consistent communication with clients

• Handle cases from initial filing through settlement or trial

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in personal injury law (plaintiff side preferred)

• Ability to independently manage a full caseload

• Experience conducting depositions and court appearances

• Strong legal writing and research skills

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar

Skills:

• Personal injury litigation (including wrongful death and complex claims)

• Trial preparation (trial experience a plus)

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively

• Proficient in case management and legal research
