Job Overview:

A dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury law firm is seeking a full-time Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney with experience in complex medical malpractice or nursing home litigation. This is a hands-on trial attorney role, offering the opportunity to lead cases from investigation through trial across Pennsylvania.

Location:

  • Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Duties:

  • Independently manage a docket of medical malpractice and nursing home cases

  • Oversee all stages of litigation from pleadings through trial

  • Conduct investigations, depositions, motion practice, and courtroom appearances

  • Collaborate with firm departments (intake, pre-litigation, executive branch)

  • Actively participate in firm’s growth and client advocacy strategies

  • Represent clients in a trial setting throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding regions

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (required)

  • Experience in medical malpractice litigation

  • Ability to try cases and manage complex legal matters independently

  • Willingness and ability to travel statewide for trials and case management

  • Strong work ethic, case ownership mentality, and courtroom presence

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar License

  • New Jersey Bar admission is a plus

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of personal injury and medical malpractice law

  • Trial preparation and trial experience

  • Strong writing, research, and negotiation capabilities

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills

  • Effective communication with clients, legal teams, and court personnel

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new legal tech platforms
