A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Madison, WI office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of employment-related legal matters, providing representation and counsel to employers.

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
  • Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 2+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
  • Current WI Bar admission in good standing.
  • Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Wisconsin Bar.
