Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Prelitigation Attorney in Denver, CO, to manage large-value, serious injury cases before litigation. This role involves handling complex matters such as motor vehicle collisions, premises liability claims, and animal attacks, providing personalized service and strategic case evaluation.

Duties

  • Manage a docket of high-value personal injury cases in the prelitigation phase.
  • Conduct in-depth liability and damages evaluations to determine case value and resolution strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring regular, empathetic communication.
  • Analyze insurance coverage and recovery options, including third-party liability and underinsured motorist claims.
  • Collaborate with seasoned investigators, medical experts, and case managers to fully develop cases.
  • Prepare recommendations on whether litigation is warranted.
  • Provide personalized, boutique-style service and exceptional advocacy to clients during their recovery process.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado, in good standing.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in personal injury law, with strong knowledge of catastrophic injury cases.
  • Litigation experience preferred, as it strengthens presuit analysis and strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and client-relations skills, with the ability to provide concierge-level service.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify recovery options and make strategic recommendations.
  • A commitment to the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and client care.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Colorado Bar license.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in case management and legal research.
