Job Overview:

A law firm seeks a Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney to join its dedicated legal team. This position is ideal for both experienced immigration attorneys and newly licensed law graduates. The firm provides mentorship under a seasoned immigration attorney, offering a supportive environment to develop expertise in immigration law. This is a full-time, in-office role.

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving family-based visas, asylum applications, deportation defense, and naturalization.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and stay updated on evolving immigration laws and policies.

  • Prepare and file necessary applications, petitions, and supporting legal documents.

  • Represent clients in immigration court proceedings and USCIS interviews.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding case progress and legal options.

  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

  • Strong research, analytical, and advocacy skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Capacity to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (Florida preferred).
