Job Title: Senior Immigration Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Miami, FL, is seeking a seasoned immigration attorney through a legal recruitment partner. This role centers on delivering advanced legal support across a range of immigration matters, particularly those involving complex filings and client representation. The attorney will lead case strategies, ensure timely and accurate filings, and act as a mentor to junior legal personnel. Ideal candidates will possess a strategic mindset, fluency in Spanish, and a demonstrated ability to handle high-stakes immigration issues with professionalism and integrity.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in immigration-related matters, including applications for visas, permanent residence, naturalization, and other benefits

  • Draft and file legal documents with precision and compliance with deadlines

  • Handle complex immigration litigation and appeals when necessary

  • Conduct thorough legal research and stay current with evolving immigration policies and practices

  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff

  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance

  • Contribute to a collaborative legal environment by sharing insights and best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in immigration law

  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

  • Demonstrated success managing a broad caseload

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centered approach

  • Capable of working independently and making informed legal judgments

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in any U.S. state or territory

Skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish (required)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong analytical and legal research skills

  • Effective multitasking in a fast-paced legal setting

  • Leadership and mentoring abilities

  • Familiarity with immigration litigation and appeals processes (preferred)
