Duties

  • Communicate with the Post Judgment Attorney Manager and clients to discuss case details.
  • Assist in responding to post-judgment components of client audits.
  • Monitor relevant legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law.
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
  • Analyze probable case outcomes using legal precedents.
  • Prepare and file legal documents.
  • Oversee support staff and assist in managing workflow as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from collection and legal staff on post-judgment accounts.
  • Maintain job aides for the team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ABA-accredited institution with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Demonstrated case analysis ability and proven settlement skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in internet and online research.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters arise.

Education
