This role is ideal for a junior attorney interested in growing their legal career by representing employers in labor and employment disputes, handling complex litigation, and advising clients across various sectors. Duties:

• Examine intricate legal matters and develop sound, well-supported legal strategies

• Draft persuasive written materials including motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and legal memoranda

• Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including trials, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations

• Engage with opposing parties, co-counsel, and judicial officers in a professional, effective manner

• Advise clients with timely updates, legal opinions, and risk assessments

• Participate in legal reviews and strategy discussions related to ongoing cases

• Stay current with legal developments and best practices through continuing legal education

Requirements:

• Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing

• 0-5 years of relevant litigation experience in federal and/or state courts

• Strong familiarity with employment or labor law preferred

• Ability to conduct legal research and motion practice independently

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities

• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and handle competing deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida

Skills:

• Legal analysis and persuasive writing

• Confident courtroom presence

• Professional discretion and sound judgment

• Organizational aptitude with the ability to multitask

• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Familiarity with legal management systems is advantageous but not mandatory
