Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney licensed in Arizona to support its creditors’ rights practice. This position involves representing financial institutions in foreclosure, replevin, and bankruptcy matters. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing a high-volume caseload and delivering high-quality legal services in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Phoenix, AZ

Duties:

  • Represent financial institutions and mortgage servicers in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin cases

  • Review and analyze loan documents, financial records, and case correspondence

  • Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, notices, and responses to defenses

  • Attend court hearings (in person and virtually)

  • Identify and analyze legal issues and develop case strategies

  • Draft and review documents to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy

  • Supervise non-attorney staff for compliance and procedural adherence

  • Maintain deadlines and quality expectations in high-volume case management

  • Collaborate with team members to improve legal outcomes and client satisfaction

  • Contribute to internal ethics and compliance initiatives

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona

  • 5–8 years of relevant legal experience

  • Ability to travel as needed for hearings and legal proceedings

  • Willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines when necessary

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona

  • Multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain it (a plus)

  • Federal court admission and bankruptcy experience preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail in document drafting and review

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team setting
