Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join their Blue Bell, PA office. This position offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload while gaining hands-on litigation experience within a collaborative team.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients in court at hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Effectively manage case files and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ABA-approved law school with a J.D.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA/NJ dual license preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to manage a varied and independent caseload.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active law license in Pennsylvania.
