A prestigious law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience to join its dynamic Real Estate Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and high-stakes commercial real estate transactions, collaborating with a team of over 50 professionals. The firm represents both lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate deals, providing a multifaceted practice with exposure to various aspects of real estate law.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage real estate finance transactions, including but not limited to structuring joint ventures, purchase and sale agreements, and management agreements.

  • Handle complex real estate transactions, advising clients on strategy, structuring, and risk management.

  • Interface directly with clients, providing legal counsel and managing client relationships.

  • Work on a variety of real estate projects, with a focus on commercial real estate finance and transactions.

  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient case management and timely execution.

  • Manage a fast-paced and diverse workload, ensuring that priorities are met and issues are anticipated and resolved promptly.

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the real estate practice group by sharing expertise and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in real estate law, with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions.

  • Lender-side experience is preferred but not required.

  • Proficient in drafting and negotiating real estate agreements, joint ventures, and management agreements.

  • Knowledge of real estate finance and leasing is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience working with clients on complex, high-value transactions.

  • Must be admitted to practice law in California.

  • A proven ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.

  • A strong academic record is highly preferred.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar is required.
