Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Real Estate Investment and Finance Associate to join its office in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in complex commercial real estate at a recognized law firm and must be admitted to the California State Bar.

Duties

  • Handle real estate debt and equity transactions.
  • Draft transactional documents, including equity operating documents, loan documents, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Conduct transactional due diligence, including title and survey reviews.
  • Manage all aspects of transactional closings.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of complex commercial real estate experience.
  • Admitted to the California State Bar.
  • Experience with real estate debt and equity transactions.
  • Ability to manage transactional closings independently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • California State Bar admission.
