Job Title: Mid-Level Life Sciences Corporate Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Boston, MA, is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to support its expanding Life Sciences practice. This opportunity, offered through a legal recruitment agency, is ideal for an attorney with experience in handling corporate matters for innovative, growth-stage companies, particularly those in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. The role involves significant client interaction and cross-border transactions, offering exposure to venture-backed entities, public company work, and a broad scope of transactional activities.

Duties:

  • Handle corporate transactional work for high-growth companies in life sciences, healthcare, and technology

  • Support clients throughout the business lifecycle, from formation to exit events

  • Manage equity financing deals, including venture financings and IPOs

  • Lead or contribute to M&A transactions and public offerings

  • Guide on corporate governance and compliance matters

  • Draft and review key transaction documents

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders across jurisdictions

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in corporate transactional work, including:

    • Registered equity offerings

    • Public company representation

    • SEC reporting and compliance

    • Mergers and acquisitions

  • Demonstrated ability to manage substantial portions of deals independently

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in a U.S. State Bar

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for prompt admission

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of corporate law principles and public company regulations

  • Familiarity with legal frameworks impacting life sciences and healthcare companies

  • Interest in or experience with life sciences sector clients

  • Proficient in transaction structuring and due diligence

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and resourceful approach to problem-solving
