Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm located in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its growing personal injury team. This position involves direct client representation, legal research, motion drafting, and court appearances. Supervision is provided by a senior attorney, but the ideal candidate is expected to manage responsibilities independently and proactively contribute to case management. Individuals awaiting California Bar results are also welcome to apply and may be considered for a provisional role.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings and government agency matters

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft motions, briefs, and discovery

• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather necessary evidence

• Oversee the preparation and submission of case documents

• Collaborate with and guide paralegals and legal support staff

• Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings

• Maintain and manage an independent caseload, ensuring deadlines are consistently met

• Handle additional firm appearances as assigned

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the United States or currently awaiting Bar exam results

• In good standing with an applicable Bar association

• Demonstrated experience in personal injury law preferred

• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads independently

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure

• Fluent in both Spanish and English (oral and written)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to any U.S. State Bar (California preferred)
