Duties

• Assist in all phases of trial preparation, including strategic planning, case research, and discovery

• Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to build comprehensive case narratives

• Prepare and draft legal documents such as memoranda, court filings, and client reports

• Attend and participate in depositions, court hearings, and settlement negotiations

• Perform detailed research on case law, business entities, and workplace-related issues

• Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams throughout case lifecycles

Requirements

• 3-4 years of hands-on litigation experience in civil or commercial matters

• Currently licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar

• Licensure in New Jersey is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple case responsibilities and competing deadlines

• Adept at functioning independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

• Exhibits initiative, sound judgment, and a client-first mindset

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic record preferred

Certifications

• Active license with the New York State Bar (required)

• New Jersey Bar admission (preferred)
