A law firm seeks an Elder Law Attorney for a hybrid role in Seattle, WA. The position offers flexibility for full-to-part time or contract work, focusing on legal matters related to elderly clients, including estate planning and guardianship. The role allows for some remote work.

Duties

  • Provide legal guidance for elder law issues, estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration.
  • Create legal documents such as trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and business formation documentation.
  • Work with clients to develop and execute asset protection and preservation plans.
  • Handle special needs planning and other related legal areas.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and staff to ensure effective case management.

Requirements

  • Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Long-term Care legal expertise.
  • Washington license in good standing.
  • Experience in guardianship and elder advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Washington State Bar license.

Skills

  • Experience in trust administration.
  • Proficiency in Medicaid estate planning.
