Job Overview: A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to specialize in immigration law. Duties:

  • Draft, review, and file diverse petitions including immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, consular processing, waivers, asylum, employment-based, investment-based cases, and naturalization.
  • Collect facts and documentation to support petitions.
  • Draft correspondence regarding procedural matters, status updates, and supportive letters.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Familiarity with immigration procedures and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently on multiple projects.
  • Exceptional organizational and proofreading skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.
  • Trustworthy, with excellent references.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
