Associate Attorney - Business Litigation and Product Liability/Complex Torts

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Minneapolis, MN, with 2-5 years of experience in product liability and/or business litigation. The successful candidate will support the Product Liability/Complex Torts and Business Litigation Practice Groups, demonstrating expertise in various litigation processes and client engagement.

Duties

• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Engage in motion practice, including preparation and argument.
• Manage and organize case files effectively.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Develop and discover expert witnesses.
• Assist in trial preparation and proceedings.
• Participate in business development activities.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in product liability/complex torts and/or business litigation preferred.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a desire for client contact and hands-on litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice in Minnesota (or eligible).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
