Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in labor and employment law, including litigation. An Ohio law license is required.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day tasks and strategic case management.
• Support cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
• Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings.
• Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports.
• Assist in trial preparation, including strategy and witness preparation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment and labor law.
• Experience in employment-related litigation.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting witness interviews.
• Experience with employment and separation agreements.
• Experience taking and defending depositions preferred.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
