Duties

• Engage in proactive communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Draft complex pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Take and defend high-stakes depositions, often leading discovery matters.
• Prepare for and attend trials, arbitrations, mediations, and court hearings.
• Execute detailed tasks efficiently under tight deadlines to support the litigation team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of successful court appearances and trial preparation.
• Thorough understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and trial advocacy.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Ability to handle high-volume production with a proactive attitude and dedication to client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
