Senior Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney to join their team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in client representation and a passion for mentoring emerging legal professionals. This role involves managing a complex caseload and engaging in all aspects of the trial process, including drafting pleadings, motions, and notices.

Duties

• Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts.
• Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients.
• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws.
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently while handling a heavy caseload.
• Strong persuasive writing and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.
• 5 years of experience as a senior associate in the legal field.
• Admitted to local and state bar associations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license.
