Syracuse office of our client seeks an associate attorney preferably with 1-6 years of practical work experience in the field. The candidate will work with the managing attorney on all client files. Will prepare drafts of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents. Attend routine court appearances. Meet with clients. Draft accountings and related Surrogate's Court pleadings. Assist clients in skilled nursing facilities with Medicaid applications and administrative appeals. Must be admitted to practice in New York State.

The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the area of elder law and estate planning as evidenced through your professional experience or law school coursework. Superior written and verbal communication skills are required. Should have the willingness to participate in speaking engagements and professional presentations, and have an ability to author journal articles, blog posts, and client legal updates.
